Experienced Grounds Maintenance Technician – Outdoor Cleaning and Equipment Operations

Job Summary:

As a Grounds Maintenance Technician at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including operating heavy equipment, cleaning and maintaining outdoor spaces, and ensuring the overall appearance of our grounds. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, often in various weather conditions, and be expected to maintain a high level of productivity and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities:

* Operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, bed jacks, sweeper trucks, scissor lifts, utility trailers, and aerial lifts, to maintain and clean outdoor spaces

• Clean and separate floor coverings using versatile or trailer mount units
• Maintain the cleanliness of walkways and other outdoor areas using the passage scrubber
• Work on various landscapes, including railroad tracks and water banks
• Operate in outdoor settings during different weather conditions
• Utilize cleaning chemicals and supplies in a precise and safe manner
• Complete tasks with the use of equipment, devices, or systems connected to the execution of assigned responsibilities
• Collect garbage from all streams, attraction flumes, and inside and outside flumes
• Continuously scale and descend ladders and step stools

Essential Qualifications:

* Be at least 18 years old

• Possess a valid US Driver's License to drive company vehicles, such as pickup trucks, box trucks, and Pargo
• Have strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, and relationship-building abilities, to effectively interact with visitors, cast members, and management
• Be able to read and understand written instructions in English
• Physically demanding job requiring hard work, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, repetitive movements, and stooping

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or a related field

• Previous experience in business cleaning or janitorial services
• Previous experience in agriculture or a related field
• Previous experience using ride-on sweeper/scrubber equipment

Skills and Competencies:

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of productivity and attention to detail

• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform physically demanding tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and understand written instructions and safety protocols
• Familiarity with heavy equipment and machinery
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and outdoor settings
