Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, providing timely and effective support through various channels, including phone, email, and chat. Your primary responsibility will be to resolve customer inquiries, address concerns, and provide solutions that meet their needs. You'll work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication, efficient issue resolution, and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information on healthcare and insurance plans, policies, and procedures
- Resolve customer complaints and issues through active listening, empathy, and effective problem-solving
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills
- Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
- 1 year of experience in customer-facing roles, such as call center, retail, or hospitality
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency in Windows-based applications and customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in the healthcare or insurance industry
- Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR)
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technology platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
