Job Responsibilities

As an Experienced Full Stack Data Scientist – RWE and Clinical Data Science at arenaflex, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, actionable insights from real-world evidence (RWE) and real-world data (RWD) to support business decisions and improve patient outcomes. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing advanced analytics and data technologies to support RWE and RWD initiatives
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and execute studies, analyze data, and develop insights
• Developing and maintaining data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes to support data-driven decision-making
• Conducting statistical analysis and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in RWE and RWD
• Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and other data visualizations to support business decision-making
• Ensuring high-quality, rigorous, and interpretable deliverables from RWE research and analyses
• Building and maintaining relationships with external partners, including biopharmaceutical companies and healthcare organizations
• Conducting due diligence on new RWE and RWD vendors and evaluating their quality and relevance

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or graduate degree in a quantitative or computational field (e.g., statistics, computer science, mathematics, engineering)

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a quantitative or computational role, with a strong background in R, Python, or SQL
• Experience in designing and executing strong and reproducible statistical analyses in the context of epidemiology and observational studies with healthcare data
• Knowledge of common statistical testing methods, including generalized linear models, classification and regression trees, decision trees, unsupervised learning, time series analysis, and survival analysis
• Experience processing large datasets from diverse data sources
• Experience working with covered patient health data
• Knowledge of at least one business intelligence (BI) tool, such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, or Spotfire

Preferred Qualifications

* Ph.D. or Master's degree in a quantitative or computational field (e.g., statistics, computer science, mathematics, engineering)

• Expertise in electronic medical records (EMR)/health IT, disease registries, and claims databases
• Expertise in clinical data standards, clinical terminologies, and managed vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/ReadCode)
• Experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and/or regulatory compliance guidelines for RWE research or clinical trials (e.g., ISO, MDD/MDR, CFR)
• Experience working with alternative data sources and alternative methods of data collection, particularly those enabled by technology systems and/or solutions
• Experience with experimental design, Bayesian modeling, sequential data, and computational statistics
• Understanding of machine learning and systems learning techniques, with the ability to maintain self-learning of technical and non-technical skills
