Accurately abstract CPT, HCPCS, ICD10, and Modifiers as appropriate per clinical documentation and at times by payer. Queries and provides feedback to providers and other clinical department personnel. Performs other related functions as required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS).
• Three (3) years of comparable coding experience in Obstetric coding.
• Strong skills in CPT, ICD-10-CM, & HCPCS professional coding applications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Epic experience.
• COBGC Certification - Certified Obstetrics Gynecology Coder.
• Experience with Medi-Cal.

Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $73,706 - $91,621 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $35.30 - $43.88 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
