Job Description

As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and respectful online environment for our users. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Moderating the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all users adhere to our community guidelines and rules.
• Deleting messages that violate our community standards, including but not limited to:

+ Hate speech and harassment + Spam and self-promotion + Inflammatory or divisive content

• Banning users who repeatedly violate our community rules, after a thorough investigation and warning process.
• Muting users who have violated our community rules, to prevent further disruption.
• Investigating reports made by users about potential rule violations, and taking necessary action to resolve the issue.
• Collaborating with our community team to develop and implement effective moderation strategies.
• Providing excellent customer service and support to users, while maintaining a neutral and impartial stance.

Pay and Benefits

* Hourly rate: $12.50 per hour

• Pay cycle: Weekly, starting from Monday and ending on Sunday

Qualifications

To be successful as a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Familiarity with Discord and online community management tools
• Ability to maintain a neutral and impartial stance in high-pressure situations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
