Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced and flexible Chat Moderator to join our remote team. As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for maintaining a positive and respectful online environment by enforcing community guidelines, resolving conflicts, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a part-time, remote position that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere and create a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for:

• Deleting messages that violate our community guidelines and Discord server rules
• Banning users who repeatedly break our rules and create a toxic environment
• Muting users who have violated our community guidelines and Discord server rules
• Investigating reports made by users about potential rule violations
• Collaborating with our team to develop and implement effective community management strategies
• Providing exceptional customer service and support to our users
• Staying up-to-date with our community guidelines and Discord server rules to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all users

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• To be at least 18 years old
• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with Discord and community management tools
• Ability to maintain a neutral and impartial stance when resolving conflicts
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

• Experience working in a community management or customer service role
• Familiarity with arenaflex's mission and values
• Strong knowledge of online community guidelines and best practices
• Experience with conflict resolution and mediation
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
