Primary Duties & Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Heavy phone contact with policyholders, providers, and interested third parties to address their inquiries, concerns, and needs.
  • Processing policyholder requests from correspondence, phone calls, and emails in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Reviewing and maintaining new and revised procedures regarding policy information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintaining department standards for number of calls, average handle time, and time management to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Providing excellent customer service, demonstrating empathy, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
  • Possessing excellent alpha and number recognition skills, as well as demonstrated mathematical abilities.
  • Utilizing basic PC skills to navigate our systems and tools.
  • Handling high-stress situations calmly and with tact and professionalism.
  • Making logical conclusions and demonstrating strong decision-making skills.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with some college preferred.
  • At least one year of office experience, with telecommunications experience a plus.
  • A strong background in life and health insurance, with knowledge of insurance operations desired.
  • Excellent communication, both written and oral, and organization skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze situations and make logical conclusions.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Physical Requirements

As a remote work from home opportunity, you will be working in a home office environment. The physical requirements of this role include:
