Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Chat Moderator to join our remote team on a part-time basis. As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for maintaining a safe and respectful environment within our Discord server, enforcing community guidelines, and providing exceptional customer service to our users. Key Responsibilities:
* Moderate the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all users adhere to our community guidelines and rules
- Delete messages that violate our community guidelines, ban users with repeat offenses, and mute users who have violated our rules
- Investigate reports made by users about potential rule violations, taking swift and fair action when necessary
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement community engagement strategies that promote a positive and inclusive online environment
- Provide exceptional customer service to users, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in community management and conflict resolution
Essential Qualifications:
* Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in community management, conflict resolution, or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Familiarity with Discord and its features
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in a remote or online community management role
- Knowledge of community guidelines, moderation tools, and conflict resolution strategies
- Familiarity with arenaflex's mission, values, and community guidelines
- Experience with customer service software and tools
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
