Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Live Chat Agent, you'll be responsible for managing incoming customer support inquiries via live chat on businesses' websites and social media platforms. Your primary duties will include:

  • Handling queries from existing customers and responding to potential new customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing accurate and helpful information to resolve customer issues and concerns
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and staying up-to-date with arenaflex's services and offerings
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and escalate concerns when necessary
  • Meeting and exceeding performance metrics, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., customer service, business, communications) is a plus
  • Minimum of 10+ hours of availability per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Reliable internet connection and access to a device capable of accessing social media and website chat functions (phone, tablet, or laptop)
  • Ability to work independently and meticulously follow provided instructions
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex customer issues
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous customer support experience, preferably in a live chat or call center environment

  • Experience working with social media platforms and website chat functions

  • Fluency in multiple languages (English is the primary language, but proficiency in other languages is a plus)
