What to Expect as a Healthcare Customer Service Representative

As a key member of our remote team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Connecting with Customers: Engage with customers via phone, email, chat, and social media to resolve their questions, concerns, and issues.
  • De-escalating Complex Issues: Remain calm and composed when dealing with difficult situations, using your problem-solving skills to find solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Escalating Interactions: Know when to escalate interactions to ensure customers receive the support they require, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Processing Payments and Requests: Respond to customer requests for assistance, process payments, and ensure accurate tracking of all call-related information.
  • Auditing and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, providing valuable insights for auditing and reporting purposes.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Remote Work Experience: Be comfortable working in a virtual team environment, with minimal supervision and maximum autonomy.
  • Customer Service Experience: Possess at least 6 months of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service.
  • Age and Education: Be at least 18 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Typing Speed: Maintain a typing speed of at least 25 words per minute.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Windows operating systems and basic computer skills.
