Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our prescription order and medical record data entry processes. Responsibilities:

As a Remote LTC Pharmacy Data Entry Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Contacting physician's offices as needed for refill authorization
  • Verifying orders with clients as needed
  • Processing new and refill prescriptions
  • Opening orders, verifying eligibility, and inputting prescriptions while maintaining productivity and quality standards
  • Documenting correspondence and follow-up in the system
  • Preparing audit sheets and providing feedback to managers
  • Forwarding incomplete or rejected scripts to the appropriate department for resolution and tracking status in the system
  • Initiating and documenting correspondence and follow-up in the system
  • Assisting with research of lost or missing orders per internal department requests
  • Providing backup support to other pharmacy groups based on business needs or production levels
  • Answering incoming calls promptly and providing high standards of customer service to clients

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • A Pharmacy Technician license and Certification (CPhT) as per state requirements
  • Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred
  • Frameworks and Docutrack experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a flexible schedule as operational needs dictate, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

* Pharmacy data entry experience; minimum one year

  • Strong knowledge of Brand/Generic drugs and medical terminology

Work Schedule:

* 4:00PM-12:30AM Monday-Friday, and every other Saturday and Sunday 3:00PM-11:30PM

Location:

* Must currently live in a state where arenaflex is licensed: AZ, CO, FL, IL, IN, KS, MA, MI, MO, PA, OH, WI

Certifications and Licenses:

* Pharmacy Technician license and Certification (CPhT) as per state requirements

Experience:

* Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred

Education:
