NY Personal Lines Sales & Service Agent Fully Remote (New York License Required) $50,000 – $60,000 We are seeking an experienced and motivated New York Personal Lines Sales & Service Agent to join our growing independent agency team. This fully remote position is ideal for a licensed insurance professional who thrives in a self-directed environment and enjoys balancing client service with new business development. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a New York independent agency setting and be comfortable managing accounts from quote through renewal while identifying cross-sell opportunities. Strong accountability, organization, and communication skills are essential for success in this remote role.
Requirements
- Active New York Property & Casualty License required
- Minimum of 2 years of New York independent insurance agency experience
- Experience in the Capital District region is a plus
- Strong self-motivation and accountability for a fully remote work environment
Key Responsibilities
- Quote, bind, and issue new auto and home policies
- Review client accounts to identify coverage gaps and cross-sell opportunities
- Manage renewals, endorsements, and rewrites
- Provide clear policy explanations, claims guidance, and ongoing client service
- Maintain accurate records in the Agency Management System
- Prospect for and initiate new business opportunities
- Answer and manage inbound calls
