Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Assistant to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. As a Data Entry Assistant, you'll be responsible for collecting and entering data into our company's databases, while also providing exceptional customer service and support to our employees and clients. If you're a detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Assistant at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, including:

  • Gathering invoices, statements, reports, personal details, documents, and information from employees, other departments, and clients
  • Scanning through information to identify pertinent information and correcting errors
  • Organizing information in a manner that optimizes swift and accurate capturing
  • Creating accurate spreadsheets and entering information into relevant databases
  • Ensuring data is backed up and stored in an organized manner for easy retrieval
  • Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered
  • Handling additional duties from time to time, as required

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years' experience in a relevant field, such as data entry, customer service, or administration
  • Good command of English, both written and verbal
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and clients
  • Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed
  • Proficient touch-typing skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications and skills would be an asset in this role:

  • Experience with data entry software and systems
  • Knowledge of database management principles and practices
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Certification in data entry or a related field
