Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Storage Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data storage infrastructure, ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of our data. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices, and provide technical guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, implement, and maintain data storage infrastructure, including NAS, SAN, and DAS systems

• Develop and implement data backup and recovery strategies, ensuring the security and integrity of our data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices for data storage and management
• Provide technical guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of our systems
• Develop and maintain documentation for daily and ad-hoc tasks
• Contribute to the development of technical solutions to complex problems
• Perform code updates and security fixes to maintain the health of our storage systems
• Collaborate with application, database, server, and other technology groups to ensure suitable storage technology and design

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• 3 years of experience in data storage or related field, with emphasis on networking and storage protocols
• Industry knowledge and experience in large-scale SAN design and implementation
• Demonstrated expertise in enterprise storage organization, with knowledge of DellEMC, Cisco, and similar OEMs
• Strong understanding of current and emerging data security technologies
• Experience with NAS concepts and protocols (CIFS, NFS, and S3)
• Knowledge of data synchronization technologies for both SAN and NAS
• Operating system framework organization skills (both Linux and Windows)
• VMWare concepts and organization

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

• 5 years of experience in data storage or related field, with emphasis on networking and storage protocols
• Experience with cloud-based storage solutions
• Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools
• Experience with IT service management frameworks (ITIL)
• Strong understanding of data governance and compliance regulations
