Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in providing support to our customers regarding initial and continuing eligibility for income maintenance programs related to medical services. You'll be responsible for gathering, verifying, and evaluating necessary social, financial, and medical information, as well as maintaining accurate computerized records of participant interactions. Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering calls from participants regarding initial and continuing eligibility for income maintenance programs related to medical services
  • Gathering, verifying, evaluating, and entering necessary social, financial, and medical information into various applications
  • Maintaining complete and accurate computerized records of participant interactions
  • Performing a variety of diverse tasks while continuing to maintain currency and accuracy of program requirements
  • Ensuring timely processing of participant inquiries/annual reviews to meet client needs and program mandates
  • Meeting or exceeding daily standards for performance, accuracy, customer service, and quality

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Basic office and computer skills
  • Exceptional communications and customer service skills, including the ability to handle client behaviors such as fear, hostility, and aggression
  • Knowledge of mathematics and accounting principles used in the calculation of public assistance benefits
  • High-speed internet, quiet space with a door to safeguard equipment and modem/router to hard wire phone
  • Knowledge of the general provisions, objectives, and philosophy of public assistance programs
  • Ability to multitask and resolve issues when necessary
  • Excellent attendance with no absences during the 6-8 week training period
  • Clean background and ability to pass drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or call center environment
  • Knowledge of public assistance programs and policies
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
