Need Wellness Coach (FT) in Wilmington, DE

Job title: Wellness Coach (FT) Company: Resources for Human Development Job description: Resources for Human Development is currently hiring Wellness Coaches! SIGN ON BONUS: $750.00 for Part-Time Positions. (50% at 90 days and the other 50% at 180 days) Grubb Rd Passages is a group home that services women experiencing challenges in their mental health that impedes independence in the community. The home services up to 5 individuals. Currently the home is located in Wilmington, yet we are moving to Newark, DE in the near future. Services provided here focus on safety, skill building, symptoms management, activities of daily living as well as community living to maximize their quality of life and reducing the need for impatient hospitalization. Available Shifts:

• PART-TIME:

• Saturday and Sunday 4p-12a (every other weekend)
• Saturday and Sunday 12a-8a (every other weekend)

Some Essential Responsibilities Include:

• Provide supervision of individuals with the person-centered ISP; supporting individuals to work towards their goals and other person-centered support plans.
• Complete required daily documentation and other assigned documentation in EHR (Avatar).
• Become LLAM certified and administer medications to the residents. Provide transportation to residents for medical appointments and community outings.
• Support consumers in activities of daily living, meal prep, hygiene, laundry, meeting goals on resident's treatment plans, etc. Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Attend monthly staff meetings currently via Zoom.
• Run groups with residents.
• Complete assigned monthly training (online via Cornerstone).
• Maintain annual TB/PPD, LLAM Training (medication administration), and First Aid CPR certification.

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of residential/long-term care experience preferred.
• 1-2 years working in an environment that supports those with mental illness or developmental disabilities.
• Prior experience in social services, or human services is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in social services, human services, psychology, behavioral health or related degree preferred and experience in mental health.
• Valid Drivers license.
• Prior experience in Mental and Behavioral Health Group Home. (Preferred)
• Covid vaccination or weekly testing is required.
• Medium Physical Requirements: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
