Provide real-time updates to the medical team regarding changes in patient condition. Ensure the safety and well-being of patients by identifying and reporting any abnormalities or concerns. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement appropriate care plans. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient data and interventions. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Stay up-to-date on the latest technology and equipment used in telemetry monitoring. Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail in identifying and addressing potential issues. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as safety and infection control protocols. Provide support and training to new telemetry monitoring techs, as needed. Maintain confidentiality and patient privacy at all times. Attend educational and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to telemetry monitoring. Maintain current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Display a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times. Act as a patient advocate and promote a culture of patient-centered care. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to improve patient outcomes and quality of care. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in patient care.
