Registered Nurse (RN) - OB/GYN
About the position We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our OBGYN clinic team, providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in an ambulatory setting. The RN will work autonomously, primarily through telephone triage, while also having opportunities for direct patient interactions. This role emphasizes collaboration with providers and support staff, focusing on women's health. The position is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week, with potential for occasional remote work after orientation.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, identify outcomes, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
- Anticipate and recognize changes in patient status, modifying care plans as necessary.
- Advocate for patients, ensuring informed consent and supporting self-determination.
- Mentor colleagues and manage interpersonal relationships within the nursing team.
- Assume accountability for patient care while delegating tasks appropriately.
- Seek out and apply current evidence and standards to nursing practice.
- Communicate effectively across various formats and partner with others to effect positive change.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) with 1 year of experience, or Associate Degree (ADN) with 2 years of experience.
- Licensed Registered Nurse with NH eligibility.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate required upon hire.
- ACLS Certificate required for specific units. Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge or experience in OBGYN/Women's Health is preferred but not required.
