Need Teacher/Tutor - Day Time in Johnstown, OH

Job title: Teacher/Tutor - Day Time Company: Huntington Learning Center Job description: **URGENT HIRING PLUS SEVERAL OPEN POSITIONS** We are looking for several dynamic tutors to teach predominately MATH and some ELA, Monday-Friday at Northridge Middle School during school hours. POSITION DETAILS:

• Part-Time: 20-40 hours a week, Monday-Friday, hours vary
• Duration: October/November 2023 to May 2024
• Location: Northridge Middle School
• Middle School-aged students, Math & ELA

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor?s degree required
• Prior teaching experience preferred
• Valid teaching certificate preferred

COMPENSATION:

• With Bachelors Degree: From $20.00 per hour
• With valid Teaching Certification: From $25.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Utilize Huntington Learning Center?s instructional procedures and curriculum
• Work with the Lead Teacher and Program Director to implement instructional programs
• Follow school policies and procedures; supervise students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from the classroom
• Maintain student records of attendance and progress
• Administer computerized baseline tests at established intervals
