Associate, Paid Strategy and Planning
Starcom is a global communications planning and media leader with a rich history of over 80 years. The Associate, Paid Strategy & Planning will manage media communication for a global electronics client and assist with budget control and digital media activities.
Responsibilities
- Support the creation, management, and stewardship of client media plans and investments
- Gather and Analyze market data to determine the client’s advertising placement needs
- Assist the Senior Media Associate with plan stewardship and management
- Help monitoring and meeting deadlines and ensuring accuracy of plan implementation
- Manage budgets, submit purchase authorizations, and resolve billing discrepancies
Skills
- 0-2 years of digital media planning experience is required
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal and a proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills, but they will embrace a role that requires a mix of art and science
- Experience developing and presenting their thoughts and ideas and ability to speak up with new ideas
- Ability to think critically, analyze everything, and look for unconventional solutions to problems
- Thorough and exceptional organizational skills
- Proficiency with MS Office with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
