The State of Utah is seeking a Business Analyst for the Office of Medicaid Operations to manage increased workloads resulting from the launch of PRISM and process changes. The role involves providing technical assistance to healthcare providers and Medicaid members, as well as conducting research and data analysis for claims processing.

Responsibilities

  • Work on EOP workloads and Supports the team in reducing EOP workload lead time
  • Understanding manual review workload and policies
  • Handle claim adjustments for EOP services and understanding of general claims knowledge as well as other workloads assigned

Skills

  • Have knowledge/experience with Medicaid policy and claims processing
  • Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Systems - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • PRISM, DMP, PEGA knowledge and general Medicaid policy
