Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Patient Account Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Interacting with callers to provide timely and accurate responses to their hospital billing and physician inquiries
  • Analyzing patient accounts to ensure timely resolution by following established processes
  • Conveying information effectively, exercising active listening, and making sound judgments and decisions using logic and reasoning to identify and solve problems
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex patient account issues
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of patient interactions

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • One year of experience in a call center or healthcare setting, with a focus on insurance, patient billing, and office-related duties
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software systems
  • Certification in medical billing or a related field
