The Role

As a Financial Customer Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients, while also developing your skills and knowledge in the financial services industry. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Answering customer calls and responding to inquiries about their 401k account balances, withdrawals, loans, and account maintenance
  • Providing education and resources to help customers make informed decisions about their financial futures
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers through effective communication and empathy
  • Collaborating with colleagues to resolve complex customer issues and provide seamless support
  • Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge

What to Expect

As a new Financial Customer Associate, you will embark on a comprehensive training program that will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role. You will join a training cohort of associates and spend 14 weeks learning about the financial services industry, developing your skills, and gaining new experiences. You will start with basic customer calls and progress to more sophisticated calls related to our clients' 401k plans. In the subsequent months, you will continue taking customer calls to develop and hone your skills. You will have time in the day to join team activities, receive well-being support, and career coaching. Your achievements will be celebrated as you progress through the program, and you will have the opportunity to work extra hours based on the business needs and your availability.

  • Proficiency in navigating and troubleshooting basic technology issues or systems
  • Ability to handle a variety of situations and conversations driving towards a resolution suitable for all
  • Self-motivated teammate with strong social skills who brings energy and passion to the team
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
  • High School diploma or GED required

Shifts and Hours

As a Financial Customer Associate, you will work Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, with open availability from 7:30am to 11:00pm CST. Overtime hours are encouraged during peak call periods.

Hybrid Working Model

We also value the benefits that working offsite offers associates. Most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a arenaflex office.
