Summary/Objective American University is seeking certified Group Fitness Instructors to teach Group Exercise classes. Candidates must have a current Group Fitness Instructor certification and/or specialty certification. Experience in teaching one of the following formats - HIIT (high low aerobics), barre, strength, small group training, Zumba, dance fit, Pilates, kickboxing, or indoor cycling classes - is highly recommended. Open to both internal and external candidates. Work Environment In-person group fitness classes at American University Main Campus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• Part-Time.

Salary Range

• Starting at $24/hour and commensurate with experience.

Required Education and Experience Must hold a current Group Fitness Instructor certification. Examples of accepted certifications: ACE group fitness certification. ACSM group exercise instructor certification. AFAA group fitness instructor certification. NETA group exercise instructor certification. Zumba instructor certification. Indoor cycling certification.
