  • Coach one or more cross-functional teams on Agile and Scrum best practices
  • Promote self-organizing, accountable, and outcome-focused teams
  • Ensure transparency through effective use of Agile tools, metrics, and reporting

Release Management

  • Partner with Product Owners and Client Support to track a weekly release cadence and what goes into each release
  • Collaborate with development and management to support the process for smooth, efficient releases

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with Product Owners to support backlog refinement, prioritization, and clear acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with management stakeholders to support sprint reviews, planning, and delivery expectations
  • Help bridge communication between technical teams and non-technical public-sector partners

Impediment Removal & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify, escalate, and remove blockers affecting delivery, quality, or team health
  • Facilitate retrospectives and support actionable improvement plans
  • Foster a culture of psychological safety, learning, and continuous improvement

Governance, Compliance & Quality

  • Support compliance with government standards, security policies, and accessibility guidelines (e.g., Section 508, security reviews, documentation requirements)
  • Ensure Agile practices align with organizational governance and delivery frameworks
  • Promote predictable delivery while maintaining agility in regulated environments
Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile, and Lean principles
  • Experience supporting software development teams (engineering, UX, QA, product)
  • Experience with Azure DevOps boards, queries, and backlog management
  • Comfortable working with remote, distributed teams
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in GovTech, public sector, or highly regulated industries
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I/II, or equivalent)
  • Understanding of accessibility, security, or compliance requirements in government projects
  • Experience supporting multiple teams or scaled Agile environments
  • Familiarity with Azure Devops Pipelines and Libraries
