Job Summary
East Tennessee State University, College of Nursing (CON) is seeking applicants for an Open Rank Faculty position (non-tenure/tenure track) for our Undergraduate Programs. Faculty rank and track are commensurate with education and experience. Some appointments may be eligible for tenure. Clinical and Research track appointments may be convertible to tenure-track no later than the end of year three of the appointment. Positions are located on the main campus in Johnson City and may include classroom, online, and clinical teaching. One position is available, either 9 months or 12 months, and may involve evening and/or weekend teaching. Positions available beginning in January 2023.
Academic programs in the College of Nursing Undergraduate Programs include traditional BSN, Accelerated Traditional BSN, Accelerated second-degree BSN, RN-BSN, RN-BSN Dual Degree, and LPN-BSN.
ETSU, serving over 14,500 students, is a Research Intensive University. The College of Nursing is part of the Academic Health Sciences Center which includes Colleges of Medicine, Pharmacy, Public Health, and Clinical and Rehabilitative Health Sciences.

- An interest or expertise in rural practice, vulnerable populations, and health disparities are preferred.
