Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data management processes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Entering data on spreadsheets, databases, and websites with high accuracy and speed
  • Verifying and typing data, following company procedures and guidelines
  • Entering and sorting invoices, receipts, and timesheets
  • Accurately completing cost, project, and time entries
  • Creating and maintaining expense reports and expense codes for documents, invoices, and receipts
  • Creating and maintaining databases
  • Maintaining electronic filing systems and/or hard copy records
  • Generating reports using appropriate software, including creating tables, sorting, and exporting
  • Maintaining and updating spreadsheets
  • Maintaining and updating databases
  • Performing other clerical tasks as needed
  • Communicating regularly with clients, vendors, and managers
  • Following directions and work plan
  • Attending and participating in daily meetings
  • Discussing issues of concern
  • Participating in on-the-job training and special projects as needed

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and requirements:

  • Strong typing skills with the ability to maintain high accuracy and speed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Basic knowledge of computers, including basic troubleshooting, Windows installation, Windows updates, and driver installation
  • Ability to read and interpret contracts and drawings
  • Ability to work 8-10 hour shifts
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
