on-call: fill in as needed at various NYC client sites teaching 45 minute Group Exercise class(s) and/or providing fitness center floor coverage as needed
HealthFitness is looking for Group Class Instructors to join the fitness team at our corporate client sites located in NYC. In this position you will provide fun, effective and safe group exercise to members participating in the program such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit. There is also an opportunity to earn additional income providing fitness center floor coverage.
This is a position working on an as-needed basis.
What you'll need to have
- Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
- Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
- Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.
