The University of Maine at Presque Isle's Social Work Program is seeking part-time, temporary faculty members to teach in future semesters.
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Teaching in various formats such as distance or blended formats, syllabus development aligned with departmental expectations and the Council on Social Work Education standards, course and assignment design, grading, office hours, correspondence with students, use of the online learning management system, course coordination meetings with other faculty members, and required orientation and trainings.
Part-time faculty may be rehired for subsequent semesters based on course availability, schedule, funding, and performance. Continuation is subject to the terms of the PATFA bargaining agreement and other applicable university policies.
