Responsibilities

As a Temporary Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing large volumes of inbound calls in a timely manner, ensuring that customers receive prompt and professional assistance
  • Following established communication scripts to handle various topics, from product information to technical support
  • Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching, and providing solutions and/or alternatives to meet their expectations
  • Accessing company and client resources to accurately handle calls and provide expert advice
  • Seizing opportunities to upsell products and services when they arise, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to switch between tasks seamlessly
  • Maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, ensuring that our clients receive uninterrupted service
  • Remaining positive and professional in all customer interactions, upholding arenaflex's high standards of customer service

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous 3-6 months of customer service or customer support experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity software
  • Quick learning abilities and the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills, with active listening and problem-solving abilities
  • A background check that meets state and federal laws, ensuring a safe and secure work environment
  • A reliable internet connection, a dedicated workspace, and a laptop or desktop computer that meets our hardware and software requirements (see below)

Hardware/Software Requirements

To ensure a seamless and secure experience, you'll need to meet the following hardware and software requirements:

  • Processor: Intel Core i5 5200 Series or greater
  • Memory: 8GB on Windows 8.1 / 10 64 bits
  • Screen Resolution: 1280x768 or higher, with dual monitors required
  • USB headset
  • Up-to-date antivirus software, with a recent scan completed
  • Firewall enabled

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Policy

As a Temporary Customer Service Representative, you'll be required to provide your own equipment and workspace. Please review our BYOD policy for a detailed list of requirements and guidelines.

Pay & Benefits

As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy:

  • Starting pay: $14/hour, plus shift differential (extra $1/hr nights & wkds)
  • Work hours: Shifts between 8:00am-8:00 pm (EST), with rotating weekends
  • Paid Training: typically 2-5 days in length, from 9:00am-6:00pm (EST)
  • Status: Part Time or Full Time/Temporary, with 20-40 hours per week
