Job Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst on our Transportation Analytics crew, you'll be responsible for:

• Working with large, messy, disparate datasets and performing ad-hoc analyses to inform essential business decisions
• Creating ETLs or strategies that pull data from multiple sources and centralize it in a single table
• Developing data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges
• Engaging with team members and cross-functional groups on a regular basis to establish credibility and drive results
• Analyzing stakeholder needs and partnering with them to share relevant insights, including working with Operations, Finance, and Product groups on data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems
• Leveraging scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks for reporting (screenshots, metrics prioritization, and outlier recognition)
• Documenting your approaches and sharing your expertise with colleagues
• Mentoring colleagues as you become a Subject Matter Expert

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration)

• Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to govern data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity
• Creativity with a User Experience basis to develop impactful Tableau Dashboards
• Business Operations Fluency, with the ability to recognize and root-cause business problems
• A Supply Chain background, ideally with transportation experience
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally

Preferred Qualifications

* Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau

• Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages
• Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data integrity
• Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and Python (or other scripting languages)
