Job Summary

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Virtual Assistant to join our team. As a Virtual Assistant, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our team, leveraging your strong technical skills and expertise to drive success. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and product development, to ensure seamless execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

As a Virtual Assistant at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to take on a wide range of responsibilities, including:

• Providing exceptional support to our team, leveraging your strong technical skills and expertise to drive success
• Working closely with our cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and product development, to ensure seamless execution of our projects
• Managing our monthly close, internal and external reporting, audits, systems, and policies
• Developing opportunities for colleagues' growth and advancement
• Taking ownership of planning, review, and accuracy of all financial, regulatory, and investor reporting
• Supporting new and existing research and products by working cross-functionally to manage risk and build and maintain agile accounting processes
• Identifying opportunities for automation of manual processes and leading system implementations to streamline accounting and reporting processes
• Managing key vendor relationships with auditors, outsourced accountants, technical accounting advisors, and strategic partners
• Working with broader arenaflex Finance to analyze financial performance, provide recommendations to senior leadership for progress, and support strategic navigation

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of progressive experience in senior accounting leadership roles at a mix of public companies, late-stage startups, and/or public accounting firms
• CPA or CA with a deep understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements for different types of legal entities
• Strong project management skills, including attention to detail and ability to prioritize and lead high-priority initiatives on concurrent timelines
• Model excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, as demonstrated by the ability to convey complex concepts across various audiences
• Experience working with modern software and systems, especially NetSuite and Zip
• Strong analytical skills, including working knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools
