Job Summary

We are seeking a Temporary Outbound Customer Care Specialist to join our National Engagement Center in Dallas, TX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for making outbound calls to thank and support volunteers for their recruitment and fundraising activities. Your exceptional communication skills, passion for helping others, and ability to multitask will make you an invaluable asset to our organization.

Responsibilities

As a Temporary Outbound Customer Care Specialist, your daily scope of work will include:

• Making routine outbound calls to thank donors, welcome volunteers, and assist with events such as Heart Walk, youth activities, or advocacy issues
• Establishing an ongoing support relationship and educating volunteers on aspects of fundraising
• Responding to customer inquiries by referring them to published materials, secondary sources, or more senior staff
• Following up on previous calls
• Utilizing multiple software programs for tracking contact information and interactions

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 0-2 years of minimum relevant work experience, with at least six months of customer interaction experience, including managing accounts/clients and demonstrating a strong customer satisfaction focus and passion to help others
• The ability to multitask by simultaneously navigating several software programs and the Internet
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, including typing accuracy
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm CT
