Department: Music Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: This adjunct will teach the Music Business class in the curriculum of the Music Department's Sound Recording Degree program. Qualifications: The adjunct instructor for this position will teach the Music Business class within the Sound Recording Degree program at UAPB. Candidates should be familiar with the structure of the music industry, current copyright law, recording, publishing, and performance contracts, performing rights organizations and royalty payments, marketing and promotional strategies as they apply to the music industry, and the impact of emerging technologies on the music industry.
