The Ames Middle School coaching staff is seeking Assistant 8th Grade Girls Track Coaches for the 2023-24 season. Work Schedule: During the season, the work schedule will be 4:00pm-6:00pm Monday-Friday. Longer nights will be required for meets. Responsibilities:

• Assists Head Track Coach in running a competitive girls track program.
• Follows and maintains knowledge of all District policies and procedures.
• Abides by strict confidentiality at all times.
• Attends work on a consistent and punctual basis.
• Creates a sense of belonging and a welcoming environment for all athletes and families.
• Onsite work required.
• Assists with other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: A current Department of Education Coaching Authorization. Preferred Qualifications: Experience coaching cross country or track at the high school or middle school level.
