Job Summary

arenaflex is seeking an experienced Remote Data Entry Clerk / Typing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data management team, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into our database from paper documents, spreadsheets, and other sources. Responsibilities

  • Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners.
  • Type in data provided directly from customers, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes, utilizing your knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our database.
  • Update existing data, retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested, and perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
  • Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk, with a strong understanding of data confidentiality principles.
  • Fast typing skills, with knowledge of the touch typing system preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices.
  • Basic understanding of databases and data management principles.
