Job description: We are currently seeking passionate, dedicated, and nurturing Assistant Teachers to join our TLE Astoria family
Our preschool classroom is full of excitement At this age our friends are preparing for pre-k and kindergarten. We help them get ready for their future through our exciting, fun curriculum. We help with phonics, technology, manners, sign-language, and much more Our preschool teachers love to be creative with the students and we love to see them having fun
Our teachers should have experience:
- Interacting affectionately and respectfully with children.
- Assisting with activities that will support their emotional, intellectual and social development.
- Working well with other teachers.
- Communicating with peers, children, and parents professionally and warmly.
- Overall classroom management: leading/creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children can play and learn.
- Serve as a role model to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning
- Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children?s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
- Build relationships with families and coworkers to create an inviting environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
- At least 5 years of experience working with preschoolers (2 - 4 year old's)
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
- Must be vaccinated against Covid-19
