Job Summary

As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in the development of our distributed cloud applications, working closely with our team of engineers, designers, and product managers to design, build, and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining our data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes, as well as developing and deploying data-driven applications that drive business insights and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and build distributed data handling and scientific frameworks, including data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes

  • Develop and deploy data-driven applications that drive business insights and decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance systems
  • Build and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and data catalogs
  • Develop and deploy data visualizations and reporting tools to support business decision-making
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data engineering
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our data engineering practices

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on distributed systems and cloud computing
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, such as Cassandra and Elasticsearch
  • Experience with cloud platforms, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, and Scala
  • Experience with data integration and ETL tools, such as Apache Beam and Apache NiFi
  • Strong understanding of data security and compliance regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop and Spark

  • Experience with data streaming and messaging platforms, such as Apache Kafka
  • Experience with cloud-based data storage and analytics platforms, such as Amazon S3 and Amazon Redshift
  • Experience with data governance and metadata management tools, such as Apache Atlas and Apache Ranger
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins and Docker
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance regulations, such as AWS IAM and Azure AD
