Senior Reviewer, Loss Control Surveyor
- Conduct in-depth reviews of submitted Loss Control Surveys across multiple coverage lines (e.g., Workers' Compensation, General Liability, Property).
- Evaluate reports against internal RSP standards and client-specific guidelines to ensure completeness, consistency, and technical accuracy.
- Provide clear, concise feedback on needed corrections and document required changes thoroughly.
- Use tools such as CoreLogic to validate replacement costs and AUSUM or Loss Control 360 for report processing.
- Complete an average of 10–20 survey reviews daily, depending on report complexity.
- Escalate significant quality report concerns or recurring trends to the Senior Practice Director.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for 5–15 surveyors, offering onboarding, process guidance, and professional development support.
- Train on systems (e.g., Loss Control 360, AUSUM), internal standards, client expectations, and reporting best practices.
- Monitor quality trends and provide coaching to improve individual and team performance.
- Communicate respectfully and constructively with contractors regarding report deficiencies and expectations.
- Maintain records of mentoring interactions and progress; inform leadership of any performance risks
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Loss Control Surveyor
- Prior experience in QA or peer review of technical reports preferred
- 1–2 years of experience mentoring or coaching peers/team members
- Experience with mobile data collection systems or report platforms (CoreLogic, Loss Control 360, AUSUM)
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
- Comfortable providing feedback and coaching others
