Role Synopsis

The Data Scientist and Patient Safety Analytics Lead will play a critical role in driving our analytics strategy and developing innovative solutions to improve patient safety and outcomes. This is a remote opportunity that requires a strong background in data science, analytics, and patient safety. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing and implementing data-driven solutions, as well as a passion for improving patient care.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the development and implementation of data-driven solutions to improve patient safety and outcomes

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted solutions
• Design and implement advanced analytics models to drive insights and inform decision making
• Develop and maintain complex data visualizations and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders
• Work closely with clinicians and other stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and analytics, and apply that knowledge to drive innovation and improvement

Essential Qualifications

* 8+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field

• Strong background in statistics, machine learning, and data visualization
• Proven track record of success in developing and implementing data-driven solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinicians and other stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
• Experience working with large datasets and developing complex data visualizations
• Strong understanding of healthcare operations and patient safety principles

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's or Ph.D. in a related field (e.g. data science, statistics, computer science)

• Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare data systems
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
• Strong understanding of healthcare policy and regulatory requirements
