Your Impact

Join Pearce as a Generator Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing commercial generators on cell phone towers within your region. This position is ideal for independent, self-motivated individuals seeking growth in the fast-paced Telecom industry. Travel and on-call duties are part of this engaging role.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair generators, diagnose issues, and replace components as needed.
  • Conduct regular performance checks and follow blueprints for installations or repairs.
  • Install fuel and water supply lines, electrical wiring, and other components, ensuring proper operation.
  • Respond promptly to generator alarms and be available for 24/7 on-call duties.
  • Work safely by using equipment and practices to avoid hazards and attend safety meetings.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of experience with generator and electrical maintenance; two years preferred.
  • Knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repairs, including electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.
  • Basic understanding of FCC, FAA, EPA, and OSHA regulations.
  • Physical ability to lift over 50 pounds and perform tasks such as stooping, bending, and climbing.
  • Willingness to drive long distances, work flexible hours, and be on call as needed.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical.

Base Pay Range$30—$40 USD
