About Us

At Robbins Children’s Program, our mission is to support children and families by creating a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment where every child can thrive. While much of our work happens directly in the community, our behind-the-scenes team is just as essential in making that impact possible.

We believe that every role contributes to something meaningful—and we’re looking for someone who wants their work to truly matter.

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Payroll & Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you’ll help ensure that our employees are paid accurately and on time, while also managing vendor payments and supporting our day-to-day financial operations.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently but also values staying connected with a team. You’ll regularly collaborate with our finance and HR staff while managing your own workflow in a remote environment.

  • Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports
  • Review payroll data carefully and resolve discrepancies proactively

  • Prepare and issue payments
  • Maintain well-organized records of all accounts payable activity
  • Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies
  • Assist with month-end processes related to payables

  • Experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization
  • Familiarity with multi-state payroll
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

What It’s Like to Work Here

Why Join Robbins Children’s Program?

  • Fully remote work with flexibility
  • Meaningful work that supports children and families
  • A collaborative and mission-driven team
  • A role where your attention to detail truly makes a difference
