Reports To: Chief Academic Officer
Calendar: Standard 261 Days
Pay Grade: $19.83/hour (may increase with experience)
SUMMARY
This position is an executive level administrative assistant providing secretarial support to the Chief Academic Officer in the Teaching and Learning Department and other professional employees assigned to the Teaching and Learning Department.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generates inter-departmental notices and reports daily as needed.
- Produces written correspondence daily.
- Prepares daily routine and confidential correspondence for supervisor.
- Coordinates daily calendar, travel and conference arrangements for supervisor.
- Files correspondence, reports and documents daily.
- Maintains files and records for the supervisor as needed.
- Answers telephone, directs calls or takes messages as appropriate daily.
- Assists in preparation of presentations for the Board including video/audio presentations using computer applications such as PowerPoint.
- Assists in preparation and creation of District, State and Federal reports as needed.
- Arranges meetings, schedules appointments, coordinates travel and conference needs for the Chief Academic Officer and/or Teaching and Learning Department team members as needed.
- Assists in the creation and maintenance of information databases and comparability data reports as needed.
- Compiles school and District data for testing.
- Handles confidential materials related to grade level achievement records by District, buildings and classroom.
- Manages assigned budgets and orders materials as requested.
- Prepares various forms and resources for distribution to schools.
- Required: High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Preferred: Associate degree as an administrative assistant or related experience
