Business Development Representative

Too Good To Go is a social impact company focused on reducing food waste. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to engage with stores and onboard them to their platform, emphasizing a commitment to sales and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Cold call new prospects, min. 60 calls a day to introduce and sell the value of Too Good To Go to them
  • Take the stores through the signup process (which can take anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours)
  • Be responsible for the store the first 28 days of the partner journey, helping new stores use our marketplace app and other tools, ensuring they are fully informed and on boarded as a Too Good To Go partner and completing the post-sales process
  • Maintain and organise a solid pipeline of opportunities through Salesforce based on the monthly leads you are given
  • Join weekly meetings with the Growth team to ensure smooth transition after the 28 days and ensure that they are aware of stores ready to be handed over

Skills

  • Energy, commitment and humble approach to others
  • Eager to learn and don't take no for an answer
  • Experience in sales, or as a server in a restaurant or clerk in a store where upselling is involved
  • Ability to make a minimum of 60 calls per day
  • Ability to maintain and organize a solid pipeline of opportunities through Salesforce
  • Willingness to join weekly meetings with the Growth team
  • Ability to help new stores use the marketplace app and other tools
  • Ability to complete the post-sales process
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
