Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Customer Care Representative to join our Customer Care department. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for answering phone calls, providing exceptional customer service, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain call experience working for a stable company in the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer phone calls and provide exceptional customer service to policy holders, agents, and funeral homes
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
- Utilize knowledge of our products and services to provide accurate and helpful information to customers
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
- Stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and product knowledge
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve customer service skills and product knowledge
Requirements
* High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer operation skills
- Ability to type 35 wpm
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures
- Full-time schedule Monday through Friday - 8:00am-4:45pm MST (part-time schedule open to discussion)
Preferred Qualifications
* Prior experience working in the insurance industry
- Fluency in Spanish (additional language skills a plus)
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Knowledge of life insurance, mortuary, cemetery, and mortgages products and services
