The Role

As a Customer Alarm Monitoring Agent, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our customers by monitoring alarm signals and dispatching emergency services as needed. This position requires a strong and diverse skillset, including:

  • Responding to alarm signals from customers' alarm systems
  • Dispatching emergency signals to police, fire, and medical agencies
  • Providing world-class customer service to customers in their time of need
  • Notifying customers of non-emergency signals
  • Notifying account contacts of emergency signals after dispatch
  • Receiving and processing inbound calls requesting information

Responsibilities

* Respond to alarm signals from customers' alarm systems in a timely and efficient manner

  • Dispatch emergency signals to police, fire, and medical agencies as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers in their time of need, responding to their concerns and addressing their needs
  • Notify customers of non-emergency signals, ensuring they're aware of any potential issues
  • Notify account contacts of emergency signals after dispatch, keeping them informed of any developments
  • Receive and process inbound calls requesting information, providing accurate and timely responses

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute
  • Must be able to pass an FBI criminal background check to obtain a Burglar Alarm License in all 50 states
  • One year of customer service experience preferred, but not required

Nice-to-Haves

* Bilingual Spanish/English speakers (additional $1.00 per hour)

  • Experience in a high-stress environment
