Job Overview

As an Online Chat Representative, you will be responsible for managing a diverse array of customer inquiries through online chat, delivering precise information regarding products and services, scheduling appointments based on customer requirements, and cultivating and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base of products and services. Your role will be instrumental in collecting customer contact details for lead generation and review, as well as summarizing interactions tailored to client needs for follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage a diverse array of customer inquiries through online chat, responding promptly and professionally to ensure exceptional customer experiences.

  • Deliver precise information regarding products and services, including features, benefits, and pricing.
  • Schedule appointments based on customer requirements, ensuring seamless communication and follow-up.
  • Cultivate and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of products and services, staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
  • Collect customer contact details for lead generation and review, ensuring accurate and timely follow-up.
  • Summarize interactions tailored to client needs for follow-up, providing valuable insights and recommendations.

Required Skills

* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.

  • Proficient multitasking capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple conversations simultaneously.
  • Fundamental internet and window-based computing skills, with experience using online chat platforms and software.
  • Fast typing abilities, with a minimum of 35 WPM required, to ensure efficient and accurate communication.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • A positive and professional demeanor, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications

* Previous experience in retail customer service or automotive industries is preferred, but not mandatory.

  • Familiarity with call center or office customer service roles is an advantage, with experience handling customer inquiries and resolving issues.
  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification is required, with a strong ability to make sound decisions and analyze situations effectively.
