Job Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Representative / Contact Center Agent, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers through various channels, including telephone, email, and chat. Your primary goal will be to resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively, while also providing a positive and personalized experience. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Telephone Support: Answering customer calls in a professional, caring, and responsive manner, and resolving issues in a timely and effective way.
  • Email & Chat Support: Responding to customer emails and chat requests in a prompt and courteous manner, and resolving issues through to completion.
  • Skill Improvement: Continuously striving to improve your cognitive and customer service skills, including proficiency with supported products, problem-solving ability, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Communication: Providing feedback on support issues, resolutions, or suggestions to your supervisor or department manager, and communicating trends, issues, and solutions to supervisors and management.
  • Support Coworkers: Providing procedural advice and assistance to other representatives, and helping to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Client Relationships: Building and maintaining positive working relationships with our support clients, and ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and effective way.

Required Education and Skills

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: You'll need to be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, employees, superiors, and business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills: You'll need to be able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues through various channels, including email, chat, and phone.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Computer Skills: You'll need to have a strong understanding of computer applications and be able to use them to resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Aptitude for Providing Superior Customer Care: You'll need to be able to provide a positive and personalized experience for our customers, and resolve issues in a timely and effective way.
  • Dependability, Adaptability, and Flexibility: You'll need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Skills

While not required, experience in sales, marketing, or promotions can be beneficial in this role. If you have a background in these areas, you may find that your skills are transferable to this position.
