Operations Coordinator
Radchem Products, Inc. is a chemical distribution company located in the southwest Chicago suburbs, seeking an Operations Coordinator to ensure effective sales order management. The role involves serving as a primary point of contact in the order flow process, managing order changes, and coordinating order fulfillment to provide a positive experience for customers.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process customer orders in support of the Sales team
- Send order confirmations with accurate pricing based on customer quotes
- Build strong relationships with customers and maintain consistent communication on order status
- Review, understand, and communicate customer requirements and instructions
- Keep track of regularly updated customer information across various databases
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments
- Coordinate with the Logistics team on freight movement
- Coordinate with the Supply team on purchases of raw materials
- Coordinate with Compliance team to ensure that orders conform to standards
Skills
- Bachelor's degree from accredited institution
- 0-2 years of professional experience
- Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office applications
- Comfortable with processing large volumes of data
- Intense focus on data accuracy
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Self-starter with ability to prioritize, multitask, and problem solve
- Remain accessible outside of standard business hours when necessary
- Interest in sales, logistics & supply chain management
- Familiarity with Salesforce
