Job Responsibilities
As an Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Pricing & Underwriting Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Analyzing data and creating pricing models using advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, SQL, and SAS techniques
- Utilizing data analytics to identify pricing issues and develop solutions to drive business growth
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather data and provide insights to inform business decisions
- Developing and maintaining forecasting and underwriting models to ensure accurate pricing and revenue projections
- Presenting pricing ideas, data analysis, and financial models to senior management on a regular basis
- Preparing executive-level documentation of pricing ideas and financial metrics
- Identifying and solving pricing issues through data analysis and collaboration with internal stakeholders
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Math, Business, Actuarial Science, or Pharmacoeconomics
- At least 3 years of experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), Contracting, Finance, Account Management, or Pricing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present data insights to senior management
- Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, SQL, and SAS
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality work
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize projects
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a healthcare or retail environment
- Knowledge of pharmacy benefit management and pricing models
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
- Certification in data analysis or a related field
